As you can see from the images above, the use of a circular or opening in the image is quite popular in this genre. The film posters above all have a background with a characters outline in the middle and some with the other character surrounding the main. The use of background image can also show the type of time period the film is in , for example the 'Enders Game' shows that it is futuristic and sci-fi, The 'Legend of Guardians' shows up front that it is an animation which the film title would not suggest. For the clear popular use of this design on the front covers I will be using this idea and creating my own take on it.
